Celebrity Airport Look: Miranda Kerr

by Tiffany Paul

Miranda Kerr Airport Style

One of the reasons I love this look is that it reminds me of the old days when people proved their sophistication at the airport. Most of us don’t look this glamorous at the airport, but something about this classic look had me dying to test it out. I decided to try it on my next business trip, when I usually go the extra mile to look a bit more presentable since you never know who you'll run into on the plane or in the hotel lobby.

I went on a mission to find that perfect, summertime travel dress that would be comfy enough for the plane, but classy enough for business travel. You can check out my video here for some shopping inspiration. I tried on a couple of different dresses before finally settling on the one that was most flattering to my body type, travel-ready, and made me feel as glamorous as Miranda Kerr looked. I paired it with a navy blazer, nude pumps (back up flats in my purse, for the plane ride), Ray Ban sunnies and a thin brown belt to pull the whole look together.

Style Guide: Preppy

by Tiffany Paul

Autumn has begun! Let the auburn-colored leaves fall and the pumpkin spice lattes warm our spirits as we get ready to embrace scarf season! For many people, school is back into full swing. I thought there couldn’t be any better time to be sartorially inspired by that classic, collegiate style than now. For this month’s Style Guide, I decided to channel a “Preppy” look, that would be the perfect mix of classic academia and sophistication.

I paired my gray Sleeper Scarf with a camel colored skirt, navy blazer, and white blouse.  Style Tip: To create the illusion of longer legs: pair nude heels with your outfits. This look is a great blend of classic neutral colors and cuts that will remain timeless for every Fall season and grow with you beyond the wonder years of school. So, when things get crazy with all the projects of life, it’s easy to looked pulled together with outfits like this.

What to Pack: London

by Tiffany Paul

Hello London! Internationally known as one of the world’s fashion capitals, rich with history and intrigue, and bursting with culture: London is the next inspirational travel destination. Although, with the city being almost always notoriously cold, packing can seem a bit of a challenge throughout the year. Londoners are style savvy; they’ve mastered either a clean-cut, polished or total edgy rocker aesthetic. You can reference style icons like Kate Moss or Victoria Beckham for that iconic London flair.

When packing, it is good to remember to make layering your friend. For summertime, I would suggest packing a pair of rain boots, a lightweight blazer, and a sweater. Take a cue from this year’s Pantone colors and opt for either a blush pink or a soft blue in your color palette to keep your look fresh.

For the wintertime, make layering your best friend. I would suggest packing rain boots, a raincoat, umbrella, gloves, and sweaters. If you choose classic neutral colors like camels, black, and cream you’ll easily achieve a classic look. Don’t forget your Sleeper Scarf as you will find in this chilly city that you’ll need more than tea to warm you up!

Sleeper Scarf Style Guide: Cozy

by Tiffany Paul

November is decidedly the perfect time of the year for scarves. With Fall in full swing and the weather just cold enough for us to all reach for hot chocolates, a scarf can be the one accessory you won’t want to leave behind. This time of the year is also the shopping season for all of us; whether you’re shopping for the upcoming holidays, taking advantage of the sales  ( Black Friday anyone?), or just because it’s fun! For this month’s Style Guide, I decided to style my outfit around a “Cozy”, but still sassy shopping look.

I paired a soft knit sweater with dark-rinse jeans, leather riding boots, and a faux fur vest. I finished the look with my black Sleeper Scarf, much appreciated when the wind picked up, and some elegant accessories. I decided to head down to San Francisco’s famous Union Square for a day of full of beautiful shops and leisurely walking. The Fall & Winter months are the perfect time of the year to have fun with all the layering accessories you could dream of.

So, the next time you’re heading out in a look so comfortable you’d forget all about the cold, don’t forget your scarf!
